I found Children of Terror quickly and read it by myself first in two days. Though Izzy is self-deprecating throughout his book, he shines through as a real person who is able to take a personal misfortune and pay it forward countless amount of times. I have had this book on my Save for Later list for a while and finally got to it this weekend. A terrific read on pioneering and the individuals who chose to settle in that harsh, foreign land, the continent, native animals and history- I loved it even when I hated the reality of it.
